cage fighting

does anybody do cage fighting. I am just getting ready to join a MMA gym and I have asked countless people in my town for tips but nobody even knows what it really is. so I am hopping that somebody on this sight can help me.

I read some stuff about cage fighting (http://bizlift.com/blog/2008/02/07/5-cage-fighting-tips-for-the-self-employed/) and I think the best tip anyone can give you is to just not give up, everyone has their bad days and never let those get you down.
