well I have been having problems with my brother. I dont like his girlfriend at all. and when I try to talk to him about it, it is like talking to a rock. We got into a fight the other day and I told him if he married her I wouldnt go to the wedding. please give me some advice.

It is your brother’s own choice who he dates, even if you cannot stand his girlfriend you should never give your brother an ultimation like that by hinting you won’t go to his wedding. If he loves this girl enough your action could drive your brother away from you even further.

Having two brothers myself (one older and one younger) we are all very close and love each other too bits, but we all have girlfriends and boyfriend so there are times you need to let your brother go and let him be. There comes a time when brothers and sisters no longer hang out with each other like we used too when we were younger as we all have our own individual groups of friends to hang out with.

As long as your brother’s girlfriend is not being overly rude to you then I suggest you hold your temper and tongue and remember, girlfriends comes and go, but you will aways be his sister :)

why is it that you don’t like his g/f? if you have no vaild reason then I would agree with the advice from peaceloveconfused, but if you do have valid concerns that she is wrong and will hurt him then you may need to find others who may share those concerns. think of it as an intervention if she is that bad. you’ll need everyone on your side, but he may still not come around.
