I dont understand it either seeing as how if they are blind the cant read the computers screen to know what to press anyways, and they can not drive a vehicle.

The buttons are created generically for all ATM’s. They’re not going to fashion special buttons just because blind people don’t drive.
There’s obviously more blind drivers on the road than we ever realized. If they can drive up to a bank’s ATM and do business, they are probably better drivers than a lot of the dingbats on the road. Maybe we should all drive blindfolded.
its probably something they thought was a good idea without logically thinking it through. or that atm wasnt really meant for a drive through/up but they put it there anyway?

OK so what is worse is i went to a drive up ATM today and there was a headphone jack. Are there headphone jacks for regular ATMs too?
