Braces, teeth stains?

I’ve heard about teeth stains ( yellow teeth) when you get them off if you havent cleaned them all the time,

I have braces, I sometimes forget to do them at night, but mostly I do, I usally forget to take them to school & the embrassment, I’ve had them on for quite awhile know I cant memba when I got thme on, but I should be getting them off august 2009? & im worried my teeth might be a bit yellow, if I start doing them every night & memba to bring htem to school would the change? & go whiter?

if they are removable ones I’d just take them out clean your teeth and then put them back in. if they aren’t removable then I just use a lot of mouthwash it can get under youre brace. I had mine off like 2 weeks back and my teeth were stained but I’ve been brushing them for about 10 mins morning and night and they are white again and no stains!

I had braces for 2 years and got mine off august 13th 2008, I sometimes forgot to brush at night and I hardly ever flossed and when I got mine off I was so nervous and scared that my teeth would be ugly and that I would have bracket stains and stuff and I got them off and my orthodontist was like, “your teeth turned out beautiful!”, “but you do have some stains..” but he scraped them off and now I don’t have any.. but just remember to wear your retainer every night.. I have only forgotten to wear mine one time since I have had them off in august and my teeth are straight as can be! :) wear your retainer, brush good, and you should be fine. (:
