Braces as a junior?

Will people make fun of me for just getting braces, as a junior in high school? I’ll be the ONLY ONE with them in my class! I’ll have to go prom and graduation, and have CRAPPY pictures because I have braces. Everyone got their braces on AND off during middle school. I would rather get invisalign, but my parents think it will be more expensive, so they don’t think it’ll be an option..I’m so upset! Will people make fun of me?

definantly not! I know a lot of sophmores and juniors with braces at my school and no one makes fun of them so I think you will be perfectly fine :)

Yeah im going into 10th grade and and I got mine on right before 9th. It doesnt really matter that much, and you wont be the ONLY one..

They wont make fun of you..

It’s much better to have braces now so you’ll have them off for college. College is much more fun so look forward to that.

I am a junior in high school aswell and I am getting braces on july 23rd just tryh not to worry bcoz they wont make fun of you! think of what the outcome will be when they come off!

my cousin got his on and off during middle school and then got wisdom teeth and had to get them on again and he got them off like 2 weeks ago and he graduated this year. and he was “popular” I guess. he definatly wasnt a loser. and I just got mine on and im going into 9th grade. so I dont think they will. youll be fine
