bottom lip pierced
Hello:)i got my bottom lip pierced like about 2 or 3weeks ago and i’ve been cleaning it with peroxide and alchohol wich i think i wasnt suppose too but didnt really know till now that i’ve been hearing bout that not being the correct way to clean it…..my lip now has a lump and dont know what to do..can someone please tell me if its infeccted??
A good piercer would have told you what to clean it with. A little research wouldn’t have hurt either. I recommend you do sea salt soaks daily. One quarter of a teaspoon of sea salt to a cup of warm water, mixed well, and soak the piercing using something such as a cotton wool ball. If the piercing is infected, expect redness, swelling, puss, and pain. The sea salt soaks should ease it though. And please, for your body’s sake, don’t clean piercings with peroxide or alcohol again.
