Why are boogers green??? Just wondering..
there not usually green, they can also be clear or even dark coloured
as well as mucus,
your nose hairs act as filters
so everything you breath in through your nose,
the nose hairs filter out small particles from it
thats what boggers are, mucus and the things they filtered out from the air
Mucus (I.e. snot) itself is crystal clear. The colors are trapped dirt, bacterial growth and other yucky stuff if you are sick. So the color depends on that odd stuff.
I think that I heard once that it's because of the "dirt" they catch. Kinda gross...
They're not always green... they can be a variety of earth tones...
because you're sick dude!
