Bloody diarrhea

I rescued a dog from someone last night and she has bloody diarrhea, usually bloody diarrhea smells really bad and this does not. I was just wondering if there was any way it could just be stress related? I work at a vet clinic as a groomer so I know I need to bring her in, but I just need to know if it could just be stress related.

might be from the stress… get the dog to an emergency vet clinic to be sure it isnt more serious.

Sounds like it could be parvo I would get her treatment asap!

it could be health related take her to the vet! it might be worms or a virus even parasites!!

My dog had that couple years ago an we took her to the vet it wasnt stress they said she ate somethng that tore her insides..it was hard plastic..I don’t know of anythng else that would cause It…hope this helps

I wouldn’t count on bloody diarrhea being stress related…I’d be getting him in for a Parvo test ASAP…the sooner you can get him started on supportive care, the more likely he will survive. If it happens to NOT be Parvo…GOOD!!!

As I wrote in the beginnning I was planning on taking her to the vet ASAP. I ended up bringing her in to the shelter that is going to bring her to a dachshund rescue, the people there know how to deal with her problems. They got her to the vet right away and I am waiting to hear back from them.
