What can I do for a dog's diarrhea and throwing up?

My dog has thrown up about 3 times and had diarrhea off and on all day. Is there something I can give him or should I just take him to the vet in the morning?

Offer him boiled hamburger and white rice…that will help sooth the irritation in his gut. If he refuses to eat, that’s fine…but it won’t hurt him if he does eat it. He’s gotten into something that is either very toxic or is blocking him…the Vet can give him Flagyl …a prescription medication…it works very fast (and I’m sure the Vet will tell you to put him on the burger and rice (or chicken and boiled white rice)…for a few days.

You should take him to the vet. Until then make sure he stays hydrated. Hope he’s okay! :)

Take him to the vet…and what has he been eatting…make him drink as much water as possible to flush his system…lmao this has really happened to me and MY BOYFRIEND had to take me to the e.r…take him in asap…hope the poor guy feels better

Take him to the vet. There is a reason he is having diarrhea and vomiting. You need to find out from the vet. He could become dehydrated if you wait too long.

Um…well call your vet tomorrow or tonight night if its a 24 hour vet. Thats all you can do I think maybe try to keep him from eatting really fast or not at all and maybe try getting him to drink water.

oh god it may b parvo virus and its contagois and life threatening vet asap!!!!!
