Blister that won't go away

I’ve had two blisters on the inside of my lower lip for about three months now. If it was herpes wouldn’t it have gone away and then come back later on?

Answer #1

HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS TYPE 1 / TYPE 2

There are actually two types of herpes simplex virus, HSV-1 and HSV-2. These are very similar in many ways, and both can cause either oral herpes or genital herpes. They do, however, prefer to live in different areas, and they follow different patterns of reactivation. For this reason, it’s useful to find out which type you have, by asking your health care provider to request this information from the lab test that is done to diagnose your herpes.

Ther is some truth to what amblessed has to say but in adition these breakouts can be an allergic reaction to something probably citric acid. Do you drink alot of soft drinks or acidy drinks and foods? Lemons, Strawberries ect.

If so cut them out of your diet. Keep the infected area dry don’t keep licking it. Then get either vasaline, Vitamine E or Chapstick rub one of these items on the dry infected area so natual moisture will keep it from cracking while it heals.

Good Luck

Doesn’t herpes come and go? Why won’t this go away at all?
