Negative on the Nuvaring, it isn’t fail safe. The insertion/removal is kinda messy, and it could cause infection or inflammation of your cervix. Pills are safe, and if you remember to take them daily they are almost 99% effective (except w/antibiotics). If you have side effects, try switching brands, and strengths. The IUD could cause inflammation of the uterus, but it is pretty effective. Try them all, talk it over w/the doctor, and see which one works best for you, but do use condoms along w/any contraceptive.

I suggest the Nuvaring. You just insert it up there very easily and remove it after three weeks. It works better than birth control pills and will not give you side effects like weight gain, bloating, headaches, etc. Plus, you don’t have to take a pill everyday!

you need to speak to your family planning advisor, not someone of here. as with all prescription medications some may suit some people, others won’t. you can’t take advice from other people about what you should take, because the person who gives you the prescription won’t!

you need something tailored for YOUR body, you body may not react the same as someone elses. asking if people had similar side effects is fine, because they’re commenting on a drug prescribed to both you and them…

honestly, when you speak to your family advisor, voice concerns about certains things, but don’t let people put you off something which is recomended for you, since your body may not react the same way.. :)
