How can you tell if someone is bipolar?

How can you tell if someone is bipolar? My mom says my stepdad is bipolar and one of my friends claims that she is bipolar, but don’t really notice it.

Well,iJust figured out that im bipolar. and 2 tell if someone is bipolar…look @ the symtoms:

excessive talk; racing thoughts

unusual energy; less need for sleep impulsiveness, a reckless pursuit of gratification

depressed mood and low self-esteem low energy levels and apathy sadness, loneliness, helplessness, guilt slow speech, fatigue, and poor coordination insomnia or oversleeping suicidal thoughts and feelings poor concentration lack of interest or pleasure in usual activities

And muchh more… The most iSuffer from is sadness,loneliness,helplessness,guilt;suicidal thoughts and feelings,poor concentration,and depressed mood.

somebody that is bipolar chanqes moods suddenly. there full of anxiety & sometimes depression. while other times there as happy as can be.

what i know that it is hard to live with this problem, some friends dont understand why your mood changes like so. but the Question is should you tell them?. it make you very sad becaues you do care for them, but u up and down hours or days.
