How do you know if someone is bipolar?
I have a very very close friend who I think is bipolar because she gets super upset and she just wants to cry all the time. But if she’s with different people or just randomly she’s happy, funny and back to her normal self. this happens all the time and it’s driving me crazy! Thanks!
It’s possible she is bipolar, but the only way to know for sure is for her to be diagnosed by a doctor.
The only way you can know for sure is for her to see a counsellor or psychiatrist and get diagnosed. You could get her to do an online test (psychcentral.com/quizzes/bipolarquiz.htm or blackdoginstitute.org.au/public/bipolardisorder/self-test.cfm) or if you don’t want her to know you’re looking this up you could try and do the quiz for her. But the only real way is to get properly diagnosed, good luck :/
Bipolar is one of the harder disorders to diagnose even by a professional. The only way to know is by getting someone with a degree related to mental health to diagnose her.
If she’s a teenage girl then thats why.
