How can I fix this awful haircut?

Okay, my hair used to be long up to mid-waist and bangs down to below my nose that I would sweep to the side. I got it layered and I loved it! But my mom HATED my bangs, and now I have this ugly haircut where my hair is a little past my shoulder and my bangs all gone =’( I look so ugly! In the picture my mom gave me that girl had LONGER hair and her bangs were below the eyes so she could still sweep it to the side! Mines didn’t turn out because my hair is very very thick. In addition, its dry too! MY BANGS ARE SO SHORT! I really really look ugly! I don’t know what to do with my hair tomorrow. Should I just put my hair up in a short ponytail and push up all the bangs with a hairband? IF I wanted to straighten my hair, which straightener do you think works best? What kind of conditioner leaves your hair softer and smoother?

I tend to do ponytails on a bad day This way your hair is back, it doesn’t take much work And better, usually any length of bangs look FINE

I have curly FRIZZY hair Decided I’d allow a stylist to play with it Got a mis-cut and my bangs were what…2 inches? It was a nightmare! So I tied it up, used some hair off to the side if I wanted it down to hide it, allowed it to grow out and just did whatever style I liked from then on

I also tend to straighten it, I use Vidal with design line products, it’s the design line products that really do the trick ;)

ungh I used to have REALLY nice long thick shiny hair but for some reason I wanted to see if it would look good short so I went to the salon and told them I wanted about 2 inches longer than my chin and when it was done it was like 2 inches above my chin omg I was sooo mad and when I got to school the nexy day because my hair was sooo thick it like stuck out so I went back and got then to thim it and…ya you definitely do not not want to do that no matter what so its been about 6 months and my hair is only as long as I wanted them to cut it:( im sooo sad when will my hair come back???but if I was you I would get a steam straightener so it doesent dry out your hair more that it is:)

Yes gt my hair done a couple of days ago I hd thick hair so I thinned it out the stylist over did it and now the top bit of my hair near my parting is short and fluffy. but for you I suggest why don’t you leave your bangs down and put a hir band just above it. If you wanted to straighten it make sure you use sumthing so it doesnt burn and dry out and use GHD hair straighten it works great. xxx gud luck

Whatever you do…advice for people out there…never EVER let a stylist use thinning shears on your head. It strips the hair shaft and ruins the quality of your hair. I used to have long long hair, and I shaved it all off…it grew back thicker and so shiny, I got a haircut while it was growing in its awkward stage, she used thinning shears and its been a nightmare ever since. Its been two years and many haircuts later and its still not as thick as it was, probably never will be. Its getting better though. It wouldn’t grow for the longest time…No thinning shears, razors…tell them NO NO NO! Ok???

Answer #5

clip back your bangs in a side partion..it will encourage them to grow that way and will begin to make side bangs the rest straighten to get as long as posable use loads of condisioner to make it look good and then just wait?

I have the same problem! my hair used 2 b really sleek and shiny and used to b below my shoulders. now its 2 my chin and layered way 2 much! my hair poofs outwards and points back 2 my face. I dont really know what 2 do so now I’m just waiting 4 it 2 grow back(which will take, like, 1000 years)!

Hi…think yourself lucky that you have some hair left to work with…I Went to a new stylist …I had a medium bob style..and I asked him to tidy it up a bit..he cut it out of bob shape..but not tooo bad..as I could gel it..however one side shorter than the other..so next day I went back and asked if he would trim it too shape..ended up with short back and sides…tears from me..and stylist very confrontational ..blaming me…I cried +++

I personally feel that apart from having a good conditioner it is also important to have a diet that helps to make your hair smooth and longer. For hair amla and aloe vera juice are the best options. Just try having one glass of juice daily, you’ll feel better. You can also go for permanent straightening f you want….i think it will look really nice.
