Belly piercinggq? Need help.

What do you clean a belly piercing withh ? I forgot and mines gettin a lil red.

Okay some people are wrong and some are right. You do NOT want to rotate the piercing at all. You do want to use a sea salt soak twice daily, put it in a small cup and put it on the piercing. You can also use a saline solution up to 4 times a day. Using anti bacterial soap, such as dial is good if you are taking a shower. You can also use warm washrag 3 times a day to speed up healing. I am a professional piercer and this is what I advise, every piercer is differant keep that in mind.

use salt water or anti bacterial soap…never alcohol on a new piercing and if it starts to get dried out, after you clean it you could put eye contact solotion on it

No salt water that’ll infect it. I clean mine the way they told me put it in oxiginated water for 10mins then take a shower use soap around your piercing hole and do it every day. And yes use a lil piercing gel.

Not “salty water” SALT water.

You can’t just put table salt in water and call it good. You need to get SEA SALT and mix that with water. Put a pinch in a shotglass full of warm water and lay down. Hold the shotglass over your belly for 10 minutes. This is soothing, cleans the piercing, and fights infection. It is great all around.

If you absolutely cannot get seasalt use a soft soap (such as a liquid hand soap, not a soap bar and not dish detergent) and wash the piercing with it gently in the shower. Be sure to rotate the piercing through the hole so that it cleans in there as well, and rinse thoroughly.

I use suhm piercing gel they gave meh where I got it done, I also clean it with soap everyday when im in the shower.
