Who here believes in the Nostradamus theory?

Natalie, you have to be more helpful when answering questions :), if you don’t know the answer then you should avoid the question because if you have bad answers, points will be taken off you. Anywho, I don’t think the world will end in 2012, I know two third of Nostradamus’s predictions have became true but I don’t think we’ll all die in 2012, we’ll live. :)

Hahaha. Don’t get me started on the Nostradamus theory. It has A LOT of flaws. But then again, its surprisingly accurate. I actually spent a whole week researching it and I can’t find any hard evidence that provides us with a clear cut answer. There’s just many references that COULD be predictions of modern day events, but we don’t know if we’re just matching the modern day event with the prediction. Even though it is shaky ground, it’s an amazing topic to learn about and I LOVE it :P Hope I helped :)

I think that the Nostradamus theory is interesting. He predicted so many things that came true, but like all things, nothing is ever set in stone. When a person knows the future, they can change it. Look at Wagner, the man who came up with the Pangaea theory. People thought he was a lunatic, but he turned out to be right about the tectonic plates and continents. People shouldn’t deny Nostradamus’s theory because he can be right. And if he is right, then it’s up to us to try and correct the future.

love this topic…I so get what your saying…been dying to actually find an original copy of his first book…it’s just so damn fascinating! call it coincidence or just plain insane…I simply love that you cant really pin point how he knew all of this at the time he wrote all of these theories…even of you dont believe in it you cant deny that it absolutely fascinating/ interesting & will make you question a lot of things! ♥

Oh please sigh His prophesies were vague, and can easily be contrived. Though he has a lot of prophesies of destruction, he has NO end of the world prophesies. Anyone who claims he did, clearly did not do their research. All he stated hat may of be taken as an “end of the world” prophesies was that he could not see past year 3,000.

TBH, no one can predict what will happen in 2012 at this moment…with the technology so advanced anything & everything can be stopped if they really wanted things to stop…like the catastrophe that was supposed to happen in the year 2000…everyone panicked, everyone was so scared that everything would go to hell but it didnt because they didnt want things to change…so they created ways to stop things from happening. If they know what to expect in 2012 and have a way to stop anything catastrophic from happening, rest assure they will do all in their power to stop what ever is bound to happen. The way I see it, with all the tsunami’s & now earth quakes…it’s about time people opened up their eyes & smelled the sort of speak coffee! Something is about to happen & they may or may not be able to stop it. If it is a war to come among religions, God help us all!!! The grounds are burning…this is a wake up call for all as one, 1 human race…no color, no religion…All of us as plain humans…I hope nothing bad happens but I am also a realist…
