Being the power of attorney?

I just found out that im my granfathers power of attorney..he dident tell me tho. I seen the papers with my own eyes. I would like to know if im able to stop his decision to sell our house being the power of attorney and all? He drinks all the time, and repeats the same things over and over..as if he doesnt remember he already told me..I’ve heard the same story about his past about 20 times…can someone give me some advice if youve had expierience with this sort of stuff before?? Thank you sincerly.

I would advise that you consult a solictor for the fine details but to my knowledge having power of a attorny means you do in fact control your granfather decisions as he is not fit or capaple to make them himself what from what you have said is true. So you should in fact be able to stop him from selling the house but it better to do this through a solictor incase of any errors if you do it yourself. Hope this helps.
