I took it off after I found out he was cheating on me, but put it away in my jewelery box. Everyone seems to think it is bad luck to keep it as well as my wedding ring...what do you think?
no, I never wear it...there is a long story behind that ring & where it came from...lets just say it's a left over piece that my uncle screwed up for a client...so of course my dad had to buy it off him for either food to eat or his rent...people in the jewelery business lost a lot of money so guess who got to have it handed down to...of course me...so...my dad had a beautiful pear shape clean diamond from his old days in the business...and decided to at least compensate for the hand down part. So, my ex never got around to actually ever paying my dad for the ring, that is why I just dont have a heart to get rid of it. Maybe there is something to that as well. oh well...
I would keep mine also. Even though the two of you have broken up and had problems, it doesnt mean that part of your life never existed and im sure there were good parts in the relationship that are nice to remember also. Its a part of your life and your past and i see no problem just keeping the ring as long as your nott wearing it. Its like photographes to me, just old memories.
I think Luck has nothing to do with our future. Our life depends much on the desitions we take, good or bad, that is something we CAN control. The rest is just conincidence: being at the right spot at the right moment or viceversa. I know some people who sold their ring and fair well, and others that did not and fair badly....don't you agree?
matty, I wish I could do that, but like i explained...there is more to it its got f*ck ups so it prob wouldnt sell. Perhaps if I took out the center pear shape stone in itself I may get a bit over 4k for it(depending on the weight & color it's priced for these days!) :(
Theres nothing that says its bad luck. It is however bad luck to wear a wedding band before marriage which is not your issue. I say pawn them unless you have a daughter with him who may want it when she is older.
nope, no kids...but I wouldnt pawn either...:( If anything I might donate my wedding ring to a congregation for less fortunate couples whom may be able to enjoy the use of it...that cant afford a wedding ring.
me.. i think you should sell it on ebay ;)
I dont think luck exists. So no.
I agree with Ty...
thanks sweetie :)
