I have horrible dreams of the sun and moon. Think of anything. Exploding,consuming Earth,solar flares,etc. I have a fear of the sun exploding,how can I overcome this fear and have peaceful dreams?
Basically what you are afraid of (subconciously) is something so great, so terible that it will end your life. Im going to sound like a preacher here but one word. GOD!!! He has protected me through MANY things espeally my HORIBLE family drama two years ago. Through that time I would wake up in hystarics and have to ask him to help me. Turn to God. :) He's kept me from dying by stupidity. (trust me I've run into a wall 3 times and wondered why it was still there) If that's not your cup o' tea then go to the doc and get a sleeping aid. I take trazidone.
Well first of all, I think that would be a pretty cool dream. Try to make it lucid if you can. But if it happens all the time I can understand that becoming worrysome. Why don't you try watching a funny movie to fall asleep to. Or maybe try listening to some soothing music. Or smoke a joint.. it might help.
I had a reoccuring nightmare too, before I came to Christ.
Right after I received him as savior, this dream came back,
however, this time, I awoke enough to say,
Lord, please take this awful thing away.
He did, and it has never returned...
That was in June of 1985.
