Backhandspring?

So I used to do gymnastics..but I quit because I got headaches a lot. Im planning on cheerleading next year in high school, and I want to be able to do a backandspring.

What can I do to reach that goal- by myself? I can almost do a backwalkover..I just dont have enough strength to do a backhandspring yet.

So yea, what can I do?

im from UK so we dsont av cheerleading like urs but look on youtube if you got a soft mat or mattress to land on try learning from youtube xx

I would do a lot of backlimbers (When you do pretty much a back walk over but keep your legs together the whole time). I recently got mine. Before I would do it by myself I was really scared to do it by myself but its best if you just do it. And once you do it by yourself I would do it over and over again just to make sure your confindent about it. I’d also ice your ankles and wrists, cause and can cause you pain sometimes.
