What are good things to do when your babysitting
) Grab a board game. Children's closets are often filled with simple, easy to learn and play games. Granted, they often may be missing a few pieces or cards, but it should be fairly easy to make up for these slight modifications in the game wear
2) Create a music video. With childhood heroes switching from men in spandex suits and capes to middle school pop stars, many children dream of one day being on the big stage. To help make their dream become a "reality", grab your own digital camera and create an afternoon of laughter, singing, and fun dancing that the children will remember for years to come.
3) Write a book. While some children like to venture into the world of stardom, others dream of being teaches or authors. Additionally, children often seem to possess the creativity that grown- ups lack. With a bit of their creativity, and your own writing and perhaps illustrating ability, creating their own story books can be very fun and simple to do.
4) Play school. As an old, childhood favorite, "playing school" has entertained various groups of children for years. However, take advantage of this childhood favorite activity by making it fully educational for both you and the children. Although most will squirm at the idea of summer school, creatively encouraging them to share some of the things that they learned in school the past year will help them to refresh their minds and relearn the lessons that will put them a little bit ahead of the others in their grade once the summer is up.
