Arm In Arm
Hello, I just had sort of an etiquette question. When my boyfriend and I walk together we usually hold hands, link arms, etc. Sometimes I hold his left arm while he has that arm in his pocket. What I am wondering is if it looks weird if the situation is reversed and I am the one with with the hand in my pocket and he is holding my arm. Just wondering if that looks weird. haha I am not bothered by it, I am sort of just wondering if other people do that and what people’s thoughts are on this! Thanks!
Usually the woman holds the man’s arm, as he is considered the strong, sturdy one…that way the woman can hold onto him for support should she “stumble”, whereas, if he were holding her arm and stumbled, she would not have the strength to hold him up and they both would fall.
