Are boxers born with short tails?

I just got a puppy recently. And he’s part lab/boxer.

And when we went to pick him up the lady told me that she’s didn’t have the tail bobbed. Neither did we..

So do most boxers have short tails, or born with short tails?

The tails are docked around 3 days old…tho good breeders take them to the Vet to be done, and don’t do the rubberband thing (that’s lambs they use those on)…

Many countries don’t allow cropping of ears, any longer, tho your’re right, acidburn…Boxers are one of the breeds that you see with their ears cropped.

The dogs aren’t born that way; their tails are cut off when they’re puppies.

no most dogs are born with long tails but when there born put a rubber band around there tail and it will eventually fall off

I think they cut them off or something. and ears too. I forgot why. Or maybe I’m thinking of a different breed. I’m pretty sure I’m right though. When they’re little they’re supposed to do surgery to trim the ears and the tails. I belive.
