how do you overcome fear if maybe your afraid of talking to people that you have just met?do anyone can help me please
:) I have this same problem, so if you have specific questions (like when exactly this most comes up) you can ask... generally I have trouble getting conversations started, so I just ask people lots of questions about themselves. I'm pretty attuned to the way they feel, so I can generally tell if they dont want to talk and I just move on to the next person. my counseling classes have helped a lot what this, just ask a person how they are, what's going on, if they're complaining, say you understand and basically rephrase what they just said to show you understand, and they keep talking...
how do you overcome fear - the only way they have shown that you can overcome fear is by doing what you're scared of. You know that old saying face your fears? Well turns out it is actually true... Now, I know it is easier said than done, but I promise it gets easier the more you do it. So just do it. And what exactly do you have to lose? Like ok, so they wont like you, you move on... next person... it really isnt the end of the world...
just be yourself. dont be worried, just dont be afraid to tlk. get to know them a little better and find something you both have in common. then you can talk about whatever you have in common without any wrooies
