Anyone laid off or Know anyone that is???

Are you laid off?? or.. Do you know anyone that is laid off?? How long has it been? How is your life? What do you do for fun? Is money tight??

I’m just hearing so many people being laid off and jobs not being available.. I’m just curious…

I needed to quit my job, had no choice. was working far from home for little pay and boss could let me transfer to somewhere closer for it was full.

so quit in June and been out of work since then.

yet I receive financial aid from school for I’m a univ student and thats helping me atleast. but needed to move back with family at the time.

my father who was working at the same job for 24 years lost an entire day of work and 4 co-workers of his were laid off already.

my friend from my band’s dad was laid off of work last week and now is selling tacos for a buck to raise money.

my mother has been asked to resign too but she fought the company and won yet cut her pay a bit

my crush worked in retail for 3 years and been laid off for 3 months now, but keep her on the roster just in case business gains up.

we are in trouble. and we are in California too

Most people are scewed when they are laid off because they have no savings and stupid spending habits.

My dad has a job now, but he has been laid off before. I think he was layed off for just a few months. Life was fine; never late with the mortgage payment, never late with any bills. What did we do for fun? Well, this household isn’t one to go to the mall often, maybe once a year. So, just video games that we had, playing outside.. Those are the kinds of things that we did. Money only becomes tight when you have stupid spending habits, and no savings, so we were fine. Other people maybe not so much.
