AntiVirus are there any good ones for free?

I agree. AVG all the way. Safe, secure, and reliable. If you’re going to look for firewalls later to back yourself up, I myself use ZoneAlarm and COMODO Firewall. Spyware removal? I use ‘Ad-aware’. Completely safe programs in my perspective. They aren’t rogue commercial programs anyways.

ok avg is a standerd among many user’s however I always have a problem with it corrupting so thats why I dont like it.

I may self am using comodo ( http://antivirus.comodo.com/) I yet to have aproblem with it, the only annoying thing about it is it seems to ask you about everything that happens

I also agree with what lizzel said but studies from places like pc world and cnet show payed software isn’t that much better but only provide support, and most probably a better customer experience

Avast is also a good one.
