Americans how do you feel about obama

from an outsiders opinion ( I live in south-africa)

for the first time in a long time America’s president isn’t the butt of every joke. Obama hasn’t been in office long enough for me to for a good opinion, but REALLY ANYTHING is better than bush.

I dont think hes doing any thing now maybve hes just chillen layback watching the world go boom. but still he is the president so he must be doing something right

Bad… I don’t see why with the stimulus plan he is giving the $$ to banks an things. He should give it to the citizens so they can use it to pay back loan, an pay off credit cards or other debts they may have. If they pay off there loans the bank will end up with the money anyway. So its more beneficial to give it to the cutizen. They would be getting rid of debt an the bank would get it either way. Kill two birds with one stone. I think there is other issues he’s handleing badly also.

Obama was not my first choice but as Jimahl said, he is doing a bang up job compared to Bush.

There have been a lot of missteps but our nation is moving in the right direction again after being adrift for a long time.
