am I skinny?

im 5’7 and im 15 years old and I weigh 120 pounds. is that skinny? what do you think? I started my 1200 calorie diet yesterday.

Dear sweet young girl at 5’7” and 120 you are in NO WAY FAT! Relax and learn to be comfy with your own body. You are still growing (in EVERY WAY) and your Hormones are still messing with you. Don’t let your weight get outa control but don’t stress over 10 or 15 pounds, you may have a large skeletal frame, or SHORT legs or Long legs, you may have a slender long torso or large breasts or maybe they are small and will get larger soon ALL these things will change your weight and your proportions accordingly. Give it time and ABOVE ALL else be COMFORTABLE with your own body… :)

You need about 2000 calories a day. Also, at 15 you’re still growing. Sounds like you’re seriously approaching an eating disorder. You might want to nip that in the bud and see a counselor before it gets worse.

Dont only eat 1200 caleries a day, its bad for you. eat atleast 2000. youre still growing and only eating 1200 could stunt growth, stop periods plus lots lost more.
