am I pregnant if im on my period???

im 24 years old my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex twice hoping to have a baby I waited 2 weeks after the last time we had sex and took 2 pregnancy test they both came out negative and my period was a couple of days late and its really light when usually I get it really heavy is there any chance that I can be pregnant?? I havent told my boyfriend that I got my period because he was really looking forward to being a daddy im really sad that I might not be pregnant so can anyone give me any opinions/advice

probably not, im mean my periods changed dramatically like that, umm but go to family planning they will help you get pregnant

You should not take a pregnancy test until your period is due.

Although, if you would have concieved right before your period - you would still get a period. A period is when the uterus sheds the egg and uterian lining out of the vagina. If you concieve right before your period is due - you would still shed that lining so it would seem like a normal period. In that case - you would have to wait until your next period is due. If you have had a period recently - then you can test at your next due period.

Your taking the pregnancy test too soon. You should not be taking them 2 weeks after you have had sex, you should be waiting until your period is due and taking them. Waiting 2 weeks will not give you an accurate result.

You can also still be pregnant if you are bleeding. I had 3 “periods” while I was pregnant with my son. Always take a pregnancy test, even if you think are starting your period.

Your most likely not pregnant. But theres still a chance take a pregnancy test for your first pee in the morning thats when its more accurate.
