I Have an 12 month old who I am trying to wean from Brestfeeding because I am also 3 months pregnant. (my supply has gone down since being pregnant) I do not want him to have Cow's Milk because of family history of allergies, and tried Goat's Milk, but he seems to hate the taste of it.. even when diluted more then reccomened. I have heard Soy is not good for Boys because it is Estrogen Plant Based. -SO I am thinking about HEMP MILK, and wonder if anyone knows anything about it. It has 4g of Protein and 4 g of Fat per cup, and I wonder if that is comparble to cow milk? It also has lots of vitamins and minerals, which is great! I am just hoping he will like the taste!!!
he might like rice milk. its all my son would drink after his first year. you can also switch to half formula half breast milk and then use less breat milk and more formula. then use half formula and half rice milk before fully switching to rice milk. it is the easiest way even if it is time consuming. remember your child will refuse to drink milk if it is too differant from what he is used to. goodluck and hope I helped.
