No, alcohol is alcohol, no matter what you drink and it what order. That ‘beer before liquor, never been sicker’ isn’t because of the type of alcohol.
It’s because people who start drinking beer are accustomed to drinking more VOLUME before feeling an effect.
If they start on that fast pace and then switch to hard liquor, and still consumer the same amount, they will get trashed and likely sick.
Just drink in moderation if you are of age. A glass of wine before dinner is nice.
