Would you agree with some New Yorkers who claim boastfully that theirs is the greatest city and state?

No. Every state, just like every country and continent has its food points and bad points. It’s a rare person that has experience each of the 50 states enough to make an educated judgement on which is the best. I like the idea of Nevada, with Las Vegas over an other state. There’s nothing like that in the UK and I’m definitely going there some day.

Yeah i think New York is pretty amazing.

Well idk about it being the best but I live in New York state and I look forward to headin down to the city a few times a month and I never get tired of it…so yea it’s pretty amazing…just REALLY expensive lol

I guess to a new yorker its the best bcz its more of a state of mind…U have it all in one state! u hv culture there, u have style, u hv endless shopping there, endless sights to see & the city, as mentioned above is simply amazing…expensive but amazing…I wouldnt trade NY for the world…snow & all! (but that is just me):P

Also depends where ur from…there are 5 borough’s all are different…and i am just mention the NYC…not NY state…there it is even more spectacular…peace, serenity & tranquility…

Other places are nice to visit, but to live…I wouldnt trade anything over NY! :P

I lived there for 15 years & was forced to leave(family issues) then couldnt wait to move back which took another 15 years…but made it back for another 5…then had to leave again & now I am trying really hard to get back again…:)

You can take the person out of NY but u can nev take the NY out of the person…I think that is all new yorkers are trying to say! where else can u find a bit of everything in one state…:P

I do not agree with them.Although everybody has their own opinion,mine is that I think New York isn’t the best place to live and I don’t quite know what place would be again that is opinionated..but I live in New Jersey and things are pretty alright here.It depends on what you like.

I think that people should be allowed to think whatever the heck they want to think. I think it’s nice that someone could be proud of where they come from, and the fact that they say it’s the best just says, “It’s the best for me, and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.” It makes me happy that someone’s capable of loving something they’re given instead of being cynical. It’s not just New Yorkers, you have to admit. There are plenty of people all over the world, and it can’t be said that some New Yorkers are the only ones with pride in their city or state. Really, when it comes to talking about where you live, why would you want to tell someone you live in a dump? (Insert extra information about food points and bad points)
