Does anyone else agree with me that the movie Summer of 42 is so wrong?

uuhhh im 15, ive seen much worse, the movie was made in the 70s, not much that that was too explicit. but still i find it wrong.

wrong in what sort of way? the fact that they made the movie so explicit or just the fact that people actually do that kinda stuff?

wrong that they portrayed sex with a minor as not such a big deal.

Never seen it but I agree, that does happen and so do things that are much worse. Try watching “I Spit On Your Grave”, it is rated R where I live, that is after it was banned for being too explicit so maybe when you’re a little older.

Ive seen “i spit on your grave” its terrible what they did to her but it was a good movie nonetheless

Do you think it was irresponsible of them to have such subject matter? Should art (movies) always try to push morals and values on us? There are movies about all sorts of things that are wrong and illegal. There are movies full of violence, with people getting their eyes gouged out, there are movies about people getting rich by selling drugs, movies about people having affairs, kinky sex, stealing, gambling, speeding, , blackmailing, lol… why did this one give you so much discomfort?

it’s a movie you know a film of entertainment purpose dont in to what it does in it don’t watch it
