Does anyone else agree that Black Eyed Peas slightly killed the song "I've had the time of my life" from Dirty Dancing?

Well, I know they did that.

No they killed it, there is only one good pert to there song and that is the part that is not changed that much.

I see it as two separate songs. One is an old song, that sounds okay…and one is a newer song that sounds okay. I don’t really see them as the same songs. So, I don’t feel they “killed” or “ruined” the older song.

Indeed, they are two seperate songs. When I listen to the original version I associate it with the Black Eyed Peas version, therefore, in my opinion ruining it.

The original is a contrived piece of saccharin babble that I would happily wipe from existence. Having said that, I would still rather listen to that than anything that the atrocious Black Eyed Peas produce. Both are utterly terrible really.

ive never herd of it before so i went on youtube, searched, listened to 2min 40seconds and closed the tab…

id rarther stick my manhood inside a rat infested drain pipe than listen to that again and as for the original… no comment!

I’m an 80’s kid and I always found the old version to be sweetly nostalgic to me…the Black Eye Peas version, imho, is total crap. Not just in the sense of a bad remake, in the sense of a stand alone song too, it’s pretty awful.
