Has anyone heard of Panic! at the Discos Time to Dance? I read someplace online that it was about self injury, which confuses me.Same thing with Evanescences 'Bring me to life' it was on a different web site, but they were both part of a long list of songs about self injury.Anyone care to explain? All are appreciated.
I don't think the song Time to dance is about self injury. I think it was written about the book written by Chuck Palahniuk, called invisable monsters. It takes place on the wedding day of a girl who is telling the story of her friend Brandy who has just been shot ( shotgun wedding and she's not bleeding on the ballroon floor for attention) They are friends through their career as models ( walls are lined with Fashion magazines and have some composure, where is your posture) and they later find out that Brandy is a transvestite ( boys will be boys, Hiding in estrogen and wearing Aubergine dreams )- Aubergine dreams is the type of makeup she wears. Without giving away too much of the book, then I already have, if you read it, It's amazing, then listen to the song again, you will see how much of the song correlates with the book.
I havent!
