Acceptance

I think if someone does not accept you for who you are, he or she does not really like you or care about you. What are your thoughts?

Answer #1

A “true friend” accepts you for who and what you are. I am 58 years old and I have 2 true friends. I believe I am exceptional because I have more than one. There are a many acquaintances, but not many friends.

Don’t worry about what most of the world thinks of you. It is the true friend that you worry about.

Answer #2

I guess thats true. I mean, you have 2 accept them as someone you care about, rite? and 2 say that, wud be ACCEPTING them. I dont get my own words, but you know what I mean.

Answer #3

yes… I would agree… however, I tend to acknowledge the whole story of the individual…it;s this part that many forget to but into account. you cant judge a book by it’s cover

Answer #4

totally agree. people who only like people for their looks are just ignorant. it’s what’s in their heart that matters; and it’s their personality that truly makes them beautiful (or not). if you’re friends with someone and you just can’t accept them for some small reason and that’s who they are, the friendship is basically false.

Answer #5

I agree.
