Why does my 6 month old Alsatian dogs eye roll back in her head?

Is she awake or sleeping when it happens? If she’s sleeping than it is normal. If she’s awake she may have an eye problem and you should contact the breeder or the vet. Hopefully you got a guarantee on the puppy so if there is something wrong with the eye you don’t get stuck with a huge vet bill. I hope everything is ok with her.

it is when she is awake and asleep…

i only got her today, and her previous owner said she has been like this since a tiny pup?

Can she see out of it? Try moving your fingers infront of her eye and she if she follows it with both eyes. Does it seem to pain her at all?

It could just be a weird fluke. If you have the money taking her to the vet would be a good idea, especially with just getting her.

You could also try finding an Alsatian dog forum. and ask the people there. It might be a breed thing.

its both of her eyes and yes i have tried waving a treat in front of her and she can follow it with no problems at all, no pain.. i’ve also tried finding an Alsatian site but no luck so far??
