1 Birthday Party Help.

My son’s 1st birthday is coming up (5 months, but I’m an early planner and like to buy things in advance), and I’m trying to get some ideas for foods, decorations, etc. We have decided that the theme is going to Pirates. Anyone have any good ideas to go along with this theme - remember it’s for a 1 year old not an adult.

Answer #1

you can make a treasure chest made of a card board box with flipping cover. design and paint it with acrylic paint to look like a real chest and fill it up with chocolate gold coins.

Answer #2

my little guys was tellitubies we made “tubby custard” which was ice cream dyed pink the cake had the tubbies on it the streamers were bright yellow, red, green, and purple

Answer #4

-get a punch bowl, fill it with a blue punch and toss in some gummy fish for an “under the sea” punch -get a cake made to look like a treasure chest (this may be more difficult unless you have someone who does specialty cakes in your area) -use red and black balloons, streamers, tablecloths, etc… -hang ropes, sails and rigging from the ceiling and walls -lay skeletons in corners -serve goldfish crackers and sailboat crackers -weiner octopusses -fish and chips -ale in mugs (root beer, actually)

if any of this helps…I had to do a pirate party for my neice on her last birthday :)
