Where would you go to get help with your taxes?

Me and my fiance do our own taxes using the computer program Turbotax. We’ve used it the past 3 years and it has been wonderful and easy to use. I even got our taxes double checked by Jackson Hewitt to make sure that we were getting all the tax cuts we deserved and the right amount back and everytime the computer program got the same results as the business did. If i had to use a business i would use Jackson Hewitt though.

Is it expensive? (on average)

My boyfriend’s brother just filed his taxes using Turbotax. It’s really cool, easy to do, and inexpensive. I don’t think you even have to pay when using that program, do you?

Turbotax rocks. Even if you have something special or crazy on your taxes, they can do the job. I’ve been using them for the past 9 years.

This means I can go online and grab the past 9 years of taxes for printouts or whatever. My taxes can get complicated sometimes, what with a business, past jobs, houses, investments, offices and all of those things mixed together in some years.

There has not been anything that Turbotax has not been able to handle so far. Some people don’t trust it, but trust me, I 100% recommend it, even above a local tax preparer.

This is, TurboTax sees all the problems that everyone has every year, and it just gets better faster, because it sees all the possible exceptions from tens of thousands of people using it. It also is able to update itself automatically to account for new laws, even at the last moment.

Just for the fact that you can easily login to see all your past returns, will be reason enough alone.

I’m referring to the online version of Turbotax, not the version that is sold in the store.

I had it as a major subject at university so I would go to myself. If I really struggled some friends who specializes in it. But I presume that you are asking where you can go for help? I have no idea as we don’t share the same jurisdiction.
