Why does my 128 gigabyte Kingston data traveler flash drive keep corrupting?
I bought a 128 gig flash drive online a while back and ever since i started using it it’ll hold whatever i put on it for a little while but then it will corrupt or tell me i need to format it for it to work properly.
So i must have formatted this thing like 30 or 40 times now and it still happens every time? any advice?
That isn’t normal for a flash drive, usualy doing it once or twice should have been enough. Do you have any warranty on it? It seems like you received a bad item.
I will assume you are using a Windows system:
What do you get if you open Windows Explorer and right-click on the flash drive then select [Properties].
I am interested in knowing what it shows for the File System and the Capacity.
