Why can't they put a limit on the salaries of government officials?
And that’s all the money that they can make early,so they will not be tempted to take money for favors?
As if they would agree to have their salary capped…..As much as both parties hate each other there is only ONE THING they all agree on without hesitation and arguments…..To award themselves a pay increase every year. Happens in the US, happens in Australia, and happens around the world.
Who is ‘they’? Government officials would have to limit their own salaries. Also, salary is not the cause of corruption. It’s funding into campaigning, which allows the person to be re-elected that is the problem.
