But google bought youtube and now you need to verify your account with your mobile #, in which I don’t have!

When it brings you up to the page where it says “verify account” (which should only pop up after signing in) click the youtube button in the upper left hand corner. It will take you to the homepage.
But when I click on any videos it redirects me back to the google account page.
Google bought youtube years ago. Not recently. Something must be wrong, maybe with your account and maybe with your computer. If this isn’t happening to the rest of us, I don’t know how we can help you.
There shouldn’t be any redirects from videos. I recommend that if it doesn’t stop doing this soon you a.) check your computer for viruses (as sometimes random redirects can be caused by them) and b.)contact google and tell them about what’s happening.
