Writing equations!!!...Algebra...please help!

Write the equation for a specific line a.slope=4, y-intercept=-3 b.slope= -1 and contains (2, -9) c. contains (3, -1) and (6, -3)

Answer #1

a. y= 4x-3, just plug what you know into slope intercept form. (y=mx+b) b. y= -x+7, use your slope for the equation, then plug the point into point-slope form (y-y1=m*(x-x1) Then, just fill it in. c. y= -x+2, Find slope by taking the points and doing y2-y1 over x2-x1. Then, find the y- intercept by using one of the coordinate pairs and putting it into point-slope form. Don’t forget to plug your slope into ‘m.’ Then, just fill it in.

Answer #2
