Is it worth being a millionaire if the reason why you are rich is because people hate you?

Not for me..

In a case like Rebecca Blacks where she is just hated because of a stupid song she made - yes its worth it. Who cares is millions of people you don’t even know hate a song you made and made fun of it. I’d laugh at them while wiping my ass with a hundred dollar bill.

Wow.. I just watched it. What a good role model she is :) Even if her singing isn’t all that perfect :)

I don’t see why not, really. I mean.. yeah, it’s not nice to have tons of people hate you. Those people are all random strangers, however, who literally have very little importance in your life otherwise.

Being a musician myself i dont appreciate what people are doing to her. she is trying but epicly failing. i mean compared to other great singers in all honesty she isnt good at all.

Pretty much this. It’s not like she did anything morally wrong. Heck, if I cared for fame of any kind I’d do what she did if I knew everyone was going to hate it.

It all depends. If this is something she really wants and it can’t be due to all the money, if she has a passion for this and truley wants to make a difference making music she’ll get there with her music and better songs. For me I write songs and its more about getting my feelings out and having people relate to me and knowing I can help people through my music. If its about the money its just someone being fake cause she really does’t care and if she has some other people making songs for her to sing then thats wrong. Everyone should write their own songs!!! and not just take other songs people write for you to get famous and rich.

To be honest, I bet all of you guys (and everyone else in the world) would sing about anything if you had a chance of making billions. I don’t really care about what she’s doing to make money, good for her. She actually has a nice voice if you listen to the acoustic version of the song. She’s thirteen and has already made more money that I will probably make in my lifetime. I would take my hat off to her, but I don’t wear hats.

Two words: Justin Beiber. Even though is hated by most teenager society, he has a fan base and he has talent. Negative attention comes and goes. First it was him, now its Rebecca Black. Next thing you know, some 9 year old makes an even worse song than ‘Friday’ and starts getting the negative attention that Rebecca is getting right now.
