If you absolutly must straighten it, I would suggest putting a Smooth and seal Cream or a heat protectant cream onit prior to the straightening so at least youre not damaging it more by straightening it. Any product you buy with Keratin in it is good for your hair. Keratin is the natural protein in your hair that makes it soft and silky. Also, when it is wet if you put whats called a serum in it (walmart has them… walgreens pretty much everywhere) John Frieda majes an incredible serum, a pea size amount when wet and your hair will definetly be more managable. If you can afford to go to a salon have them show you how to straighten it with a blow dryer, it causes less damage.. a leave in conditioner will help and the number one rule to not getting dry hair… do not shampoo everyday. The first thing we all learned in beauty school.. over shampooing strips your hair of natural oils needed in the hair thus drying it out.. shampoo every 3 days and condition ONLY the ends. That should help.

There is a product by Tressemme, and it’s called Emergencee. It’s sold anywhere hair products are sold, and treats everything you just mentioned. I used to have hair like that when I was younger, and I HATED it. Just give your hair a break and wear it curly with a ‘flexible’ mousse. (The more hold your mousse has, the stiffer it gets and the more alcohol it has, and that is not what you want.) Or, you can buy a leave-in conditioner and it’ll keep your hair tame. Good luck!

There are products in the stores, that are not that expensive. Go to walmart, they have frizz shampoos and sprays that when you put in your hair, the frizz dies down…good luck!!!:)
