Working permit

At what age can you get a working permit, or do you even need one?

Also, if it changes with what state you live in, what’s the age for CO?

Answer #1

I’m not sure about your state, but here you have to have the job before yu ge the worker’s permit. Check with the school. But usually you have to have been accepted for a job before you get it. Because they have to write what type of work you’re doing on the worker’s permit.

Answer #2

There are lots of ifs and buts when it comes to children working. Although you do all need a permit. You can get these from your school or education service and they are free. Age depends on state, country and even what sort of work. It is usually between 13 and 16. check with the local education office or school so you know your workers rights.
