Why is there only one female Smurf?
I have always wondered how one female smurf can live among all the males smurf. Imean this cartoon doesnt make sense. What do you think?
It’s a communist society … one leader Smurf dressed in red and all the little worker Smurfs doing their duty for the good of the whole community … in all reality though, Smurfette was originally created by Gargamel to infiltrate the Smurf population … the Smurfs caught her and turned her good. Before she came along - it was all male Smurfs.

there was also a dark haired female smurf - not sure what happened to her.
