Do you mean the 1954 movie or Nabih el Wahsh who seems to be trying to make a name for himself rather like Joseph McCarthy (died 1957), a US Senator who falsely accused many influential people of being secret communists and destroyed many people’s careers as a result?

hehe lol - you just made my morning!! It’ll be monster in Arabic, of course, but I was amused that someone making himself a pain had it for his name - perfect! The internet is great for looking at newspaper sites around the planet - they have all sorts of stories that don’t get reported elsewhere. If I’d had the internet when I was a teen, I’d probably be wired into it by now! :)

It could well be becoming street-speak for cool in your country tho, ‘monster’ was briefly used by UK teens in the 70’s - a lot of urban slang words have actually been in use for decades, they just get re-discovered and revived by each generation, along with urban myths.
