Word files on iTouch?!

Ok so I got a 32GB 2nd Generation iTouch two months ago and I know I can put eBooks on it and it has a notes feature but I was wondering if it’s possible to put word documents from the computer on it?! because I copied and pasted A LOT of WikiHows and eHows from the internet on my computer and saved them in a word document because it would be too much ink to print them. I transfered them to my Windows internet desktop and all the articles are in the same file/folder. I can’t print them but I want to have the articles at hand to read on the go and not be stuck to the computer. I can’t bookmark them all on my iTouch either!! Will I have to unlock or jailbreak it?!

You have a couple of solutions for this.

  1. Use Google Docs. Upload all your documents on there, and you can then access them via safari (this will only work if your connected to the internet). My experience with this has been positive. It works smoothly and displays the documents without messing the formatting up.

  2. Use the iTouch app Documents. There is a free and paid version. Both allow you to load documents onto your device. It also has a feature to connect to Google Docs but I have noticed problems with the formatting with this feature.

You can download iFile from Cydia..But before that make sure your device jailbroken..
