Well ... not exactly ... I mean, once you go through menopause you no longer have a period, or if you undergo some types of surgeries ... for example, I've had ablation done and I haven't had a period since, even though I still have a uterus.
i, being male, may be wrong but i thought that it was the ovaries, reguardless of whether your tubes are tied, that puts out the female hormone that causes menstration.
If both of your ovaries are removed can you still have periods?
You're right ethmer ... it's due to the hormones which are created by the ovaries. If your ovaries are removed, you'll go through menopause, so no more periods.
The egg doesn't go to the uterus. It's not required that an egg reaches the uterus for uterine shedding ... it's an automatic function, egg or not.
When your tubes are tied, your body still goes through the monthly uterine shed ... uterus and ovaries aren't completely relative.
But how if the tube is cut which mean a piece is missing of the tube o who oes the egg get thr
Ooops meant how not who, how does the egg get thr if part o the tube is missing
The egg doesn't come, your uterine wall is just shedding blood.
so as long s u have a uterus u will have a period
